In this post, we summarise all the articles by the Critics’ Circle members on art and architecture during September 2025.

Clare Finn has written about Theatre Picasso at Tate Modern for Artlyst, and The Radical Harmony exhibition at The National Gallery for The Critic’s Circle website.

Tabish Khan previewed October’s top exhibitions for Londonist. For FAD magazine, he reviewed Panorama Pozzuoli in Italy and had several iterations of his top 5 exhibitions to see. He is a co-host of The Good, The Bad and The Arty podcast, where they interviewed the curator of the Folkestone Triennial and the founder and sales director of Close Gallery. For his newsletter, Londonist Urban Palette, he interviewed artists Conrad Shawcross and Trevor Burgess. He also wrote opinion pieces asking if art criticism is dead and if Banksy is relevant again. He was also the guest selector for the small but mighty exhibition at Bankside Gallery.

Corinna Lotz has also reviewed Theatre Picasso for The Real Democracy Movement.

Sue Hubbard has reviewed Giacometti and Mona Hatoum and The Turner Prize for Artlyst.

Alex Leith launched the latest edition of ROSA magazine, in which he wrote articles about Jane Bown (at Newlands House Gallery), the photographers Simon Roberts and John Holloway, the ex-YBA Henry Bond and Arthur Conan Doyle’s involvement in the Piltdown Man hoax.
